Job Opening - Global Executive

Lead the evaluation and POC testing of data catalogue, data governance, and data warehouse database solutions for the enterprise data platform.
Define assessment criteria, conduct product comparisons, and recommend the best-fit solution based on technical and business requirements.
Assess the current-state data landscape, dependencies, and technical gaps.
Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and assess integration, security, scalability, performance, and operability.
Perform hands-on testing and analysis of different data platforms.
Prepare POC results, recommendation reports, and implementation roadmap for management review.
Support vendor meetings, solution demonstrations, and technical workshops.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline with at least 5 years of experience in IT field.
Proven experience as a Data Architect or Database Architect in enterprise data platform projects.
Strong hands-on knowledge of database, data warehouse, data catalogue and data governance.
Strong hands-on knowledge of Oracle database.
Experience with at least one Chinese database platform, such as GaussDB, OceanBase, or TDSQL.
Experience evaluating or implementing data catalogue, data governance, metadata management, lineage, or data quality tools (e.g. OpenMetadata, Dataphin, DataArts, etc.).
Experience in cloud or hybrid data platform environments is an advantage.
Good understanding of data warehouse architecture, SQL, and data integration.
Experience in producing architecture documents, evaluation reports, and executive summaries.
Strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and deliver within the contract period.
