Business Analyst – Finance Transformation Projects (HK$35K - $42K) (Ref. No.: 27485)
We are seeking a Business Analyst on behalf of an Insurance Company to support the Reinsurance Integration Project.
工作職責
- Collaborate with Finance, Actuarial, IT, and Reinsurers to analyze current reinsurance workflows and identify integration opportunities across systems such as Access, Alteryx, and Oracle.
- Support the implementation of streamlined accrual and settlement processes, including validation of calculation logic, policy data, and reinsurance parameters.
- Assist in the development and testing of new reinsurance tools, including data transformation workflows and reporting automation.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines, particularly around settlement timeliness, data privacy, and reporting accuracy.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to gather requirements, document processes, and facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including business requirements, process maps, and audit trail records.
- Assist in compiling reinsurance reports for internal committees and risk department.
工作要求
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, Agile Project Management will be an added advantage.
- Min. 3 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within insurance or financial services.
- Strong understanding of reinsurance operations / actuarial processes / financial reporting.
- Comfortable working with data systems and performing reconciliations and validations.
- Experience with data tools such as Alteryx, Excel, and Oracle; familiarity with DataLake and Power BI is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
