Our client, a public sector is looking for high-calibre person to fill the position.

Responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our IT systems and networks. This role requires a proactive approach to system performance, security, and user support.
Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and related hardware and software.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Perform regular backups and recovery processes.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Collaborate with IT team members on projects and system upgrades.
Provide technical support to staff and resolve issues promptly.
Document system configurations, procedures, and changes.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Proficiency in Windows or Linux server platform.
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certificates (e.g. VCP, RHCSA, etc) is add advantage.
