System Administrator / IT Officer (Financial firm, HK$30K-60K) (Ref. No.: 25580)

Our client, a multinational company is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.

Perform day-to-day IT technical support on the infrastructure and application systems used
Conduct supports on system administration, backup operation and batch processing
Occasional needs to perform system support and fire-fighting in non-office hours and weekends
Occasional needs to perform system maintenance and application system program migration during non-office hours and weekends
Other ad-hoc tasks or projects

Higher Diploma or Bachelor Degree in any of the information technology related disciplines
At least 3 years of system administration experience in supporting Linux, Solaris Unix and Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
Basic understanding of database, backup and storage technologies is an advantage
Interpersonal sensitivity and customer responsiveness with good spoken and written communication skills, team working skills
Able to escalate problems in a timely manner as per the escalation matrix
Good English and Chinese communication skills (both written and spoken)
Immediate availability is highly preferred (but not a must)
