Equity Research Analyst (Financial Sector) (HK$35K - $45K) (Ref. No.: 27788)

Our client, a Financial Institution, is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.

Job Duties

• Conduct fundamental research on Asian equities with a focus on the financial sector. Closely monitor macro, financial market, financial reform and other relevant trends in the region.
• Actively communicate with companies and analysts to expand coverage and build opinion on the covered stocks. Closely monitor the industry trends for covered sectors/companies and participate in conferences and field trips.
• Prepare industry reports, company updates, meeting memos and business trip reports.
• Formulate earnings forecast and valuation judgment on assigned companies.
• Assist in portfolio construction and proactively recommend stock ideas.
• Assist equity team in various thematic research.

Job Requirements

• Passionate in investment, self-motivated and detail-oriented
• A team player and fast-learner, reliable, responsible, flexible and able to work independently
• Good communication and analytical skills
• Graduate from top-tier university, Bachelor degree or above, accounting background/audit experience/ CFA preferred
• Minimum 2-year relevant experience (covering financial sector), sell-side or buy-side preferred
• Fluent in English and Chinese
