Event Project Manager – Event Management (HK$60K - $75K) (Ref. No.: 27152)
Our client from public sector is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.
Job Duties
- Take up management responsibility on implementation of the ICT Awards and other tasks to promote Hong Kong ICT industry
- Organise events such as judges/assessors gathering, participants briefing and awards presentation ceremonies
- Implement quality procedures and processes of all ICT Awards activities
- Liaise and collaborate with organising partners on all ICT Awards activities and deliverables
- Support senior officials in participation in the ICT Awards activities, including preparation of event briefs, visit, background research and overseeing overall programme rundown
- Plan and coordinate the promotion activities, which may include organising exhibitions, virtual events or lining up promotion opportunities with external parties, for promoting the events
- Perform technical information research and provide technical advice to management and ICT industry partners; and to perform other duties as requested by supervisor
Job Requirements
- At least 8 years working experience in the ICT field
- Experience in event management is required, preferably held in international convention venues (e.g. in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre or other venues of similar scale)
- Possess experience in project support, liaison and coordination, for instance with ICT industry partners, the Government or non-government organisations (NGOs)
- Good technical background and knowledge on latest technologies and development trends
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- At least 1 year work experience with/in the Government
