Head of Fintech (HK$1.5M – 2M p.a.) (Ref. No.: 27390)
Our client, an Investment Bank, is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.
Job Duties
- Responsible for the delivery of FinTech projects and management of the production service of FinTech platforms
- Coordinate with internal cross-functional divisions and external vendors to ensure smooth operation of Fintech platforms
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, such as the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Hong Kong Association of Banks and financial sector, to explore and develop new technological initiatives
- Manage and coach the team to build secure, reliable and interoperable technological solutions
- Assist the Chief Officer in maintaining healthy and sustainable financial results of projects and complying with statutory / regulatory requirements
- Formulate technological policy and strategic plan to meet the business and regulatory requirements
- Identify industry trends and FinTech development to facilitate a better understanding of the needs of corporate and business partners
Job Requirements
- University degree in information technology or related discipline
- Minimum 20 years of experience in information technology or FinTech solution development of which at least 10 years at managerial position in financial industry
- Possess strong knowledge of FinTech technologies such as blockchain, cloud-based application, cryptocurrency
- Proven track record in managing and delivery of FinTech initatives
- Extensive experience in project governance and management
- Strong leadership, analytical, interpersonal, communication and management skills
- Good understanding of the regulatory landscape in the financial sector
- In-depth knowledge of emerging FinTech trends and technologies
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese as well as fluency in Putonghua
