Head of Human Resources (HK$60K - $75K) (Ref. No.: 27461)

On behalf of our client, a leading construction technology company headquartered in Hong Kong, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Human Resources. This is a strategic leadership role, overseeing the full spectrum of HR functions across offices in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Singapore.

Job Duties

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of HR professionals across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Singapore.
  • Oversee all HR functions including recruitment & selection, compensation & benefits, performance management, employee relations, learning & development, and talent management.
  • Drive global mobility operations, including expatriate assignments and cross-border talent deployment.
  • Review, revamp, and align HR policies and procedures, striking a balance between consistency and local adaptation to ensure compliance and support best practices across different jurisdictions.
  • Support corporate transformation initiatives by driving organizational effectiveness, cultural integration, and change management.
  • Strengthen internal staff communication across regions, fostering a collaborative and transparent working environment.
  • Promote staff awareness of compliance, professional conduct, and best practices in workplace behavior.
  • Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and talent pipeline development to support long-term business strategies.
  • Partner with senior leadership in formulating HR strategies to support company growth and enhance organizational competitiveness.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 10-12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
  • Proven track record in leading change management, organizational transformation and policy alignment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
