Macro Economic Research Analyst (HK$40K - $50K) (Ref. No.: 27735)

Our client, a Chinese Investment Bank, is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.

Job Duties

• Responsible for conducting studies that closely monitor the economic conditions, the politics and economic policy changes in Developed countries and EM Asia;
• Formulate trend perspectives of the key related market movements (Rates/FX) based on the fundamental and technical analysis;
• Communicate the economic views with the internal investment teams;
• Draft both thematic reports and short notes on economic and market observations;
• Participate in internal and external research projects on Asia region, especially on China;
• Draft investment comprehensive reports and corporate development strategy reports;
• Ad hoc assignment by supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Master or above degree in Economics or related discipline(s);
• Experience worked and trained in a governmental, financial or academic institution;
• Deep understanding of economic fundamentals and policy framework as well as their impacts on financial markets;
• Good writing and communication skills in Chinese and English;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
