Project Officer / Project Management Assistant (IT/ Project/ Admin) (Bank)

Our client, a Retail Bank, is seeking energetic professionals to join their IT department. We have multiple openings categorized into 3 main functional areas. Candidates will be assigned to a specific role based on their background and expertise.

Job 1: Project Coordination & Administration

Provide administrative and project management support to the division.
Handle internal IT procurement processes, follow up on purchase orders, and arrange payments.
Track project progress, prepare presentation materials, and take meeting minutes.

Job 2: Financial Operations & IT Asset Management

Assist with FinTech planning, IT budgeting, and cost allocation.
Support full lifecycle IT asset management, outsourcing controls, and technical resource allocation.
Coordinate technology services across various internal IT divisions.

Job 3: Technical Infrastructure Project Operations

Assist the Project Manager in planning, execution, budget control, and risk tracking for critical infrastructure projects.
Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure timely completion.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding project updates.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, FinTech, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, IT administration, or procurement.; Less experienced maybe considered.
Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the banking industry or knowledge of data center operations is highly preferred.
Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office and SharePoint.
- For Job 2: Highly skilled in Excel functions and macros.
- For Job 3: Familiar with project management tools.
Languages: Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) would be good.
Attributes: Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
