Regional Merchandising Manager, Women’s (Ref. No.: 27904)

We are partnering with a leading luxury brand to identify a highly analytical and strategic Retail Merchandising Manager to lead the Women's Leather Goods and Shoes categories across the Asia Pacific region. The ideal candidate will take a rationalized, data-driven approach to assortment planning, sell-through optimization, and stock coverage, ensuring the product strategy is perfectly aligned with both global direction and local market needs

Curate and manage the regional assortment for Women's Bags and Accessories. Develop seasonal buying plans and oversee the Open-To-Buy, applying a logical approach that balances commercial opportunity with brand elevation.
Track and evaluate key performance indicators, including sales, sell-through, and months of coverage. Produce clear, logical reports on category performance, using data to support business decisions, rebalance inventory, and monitor pricing positioning.
Serve as the regional category ambassador. Drive strategic growth of the Bags and Accessories business, recognizing its vital role in customer acquisition, brand elevation, and long-term positioning within the APAC market.
Maintain a healthy inventory structure. Work closely with Planning teams at both HQ and local levels to ensure optimal stock allocation, minimizing excess stock while maximizing seasonal sell-through.
Build effective working relationships across departments. Partner with Retail, Operations, Visual Merchandising, Retail Excellence, CRM, and Marketing teams to ensure clear communication of product strategies, delivery timelines, and guidelines.
Keep a close watch on the APAC luxury landscape. Provide structured feedback to Global headquarters on local client trends, competitor activity, and market-specific requirements to help shape future collection development.

Minimum of 10–12 years of progressive experience in retail merchandising or buying, with a proven track record in luxury Women's Leather Goods and Shoes.
Exceptionally strong quantitative and analytical skills. Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business strategies.
Excellent stakeholder management skills. Ability to communicate logically, concisely, and diplomatically with both regional teams and Global headquarters.
Deep understanding of the luxury retail landscape in Asia Pacific, coupled with the ability to balance short-term commercial targets with long-term brand desirability.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
