Senior Full Stack Developer (HK$60,000 - $80,000 monthly) (Ref. No.: 27397)

Our client is a well-established Public Utility company; they are urgently looking for a Full Stack Developer to take up the new role.

Job Duties

• Backend Development (Primary): Build scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• System Architecture: Design robust backend architecture for high-volume operations
• API Integrations: Develop complex integrations with messaging platforms and external services
• Database Design: Create efficient data models and optimize database performance
• Frontend Development (Secondary): Build and maintain user interfaces using modern frameworks
• Full Stack Features: Implement complete features from database to user interface
• Performance Engineering: Optimize both backend systems and frontend performance
• Technical Leadership: Make architectural decisions across the entire stack

Job Requirements

• 5+ years full stack development experience with strong backend emphasis
• Expert-level Python and FastAPI experience in production environments
• Solid frontend skills with TypeScript and React (doesn’t need to be expert-level)
• Microservices architecture experience in production environments
• Database design and optimization skills with SQL databases
• Cloud deployment experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes preferred)
• API integration expertise, especially with messaging platforms
• Full stack mindset but backend-heavy problem-solving approach
• Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Ownership mindset and ability to work independently across the entire stack
