Senior Manager / Manager, Regulatory Reporting (Bank) (HK$55K - $70K) (Ref. No.: 26300)

Our client, a Leading Bank, is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.

Job Duties

• Prepare the Bank’s financial reporting and regulatory reporting to relevant regulators (i.e. HKMA & CBRC)
• Carry out month-end ledger closing activities and control activities
• Develop and implement internal control procedures in order to ensure data accuracy of financial disclosure and regulatory reporting
• Provide analysis and advice on new HKMA disclosure and regulatory reporting requirements
• Participate in related system projects and UAT testing
• Handle ad hoc projects to support department and management’s decision

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance or related discipline, with Professional qualification in HKICPA is preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in bank accounting / reporting or equivalent
• Good knowledge of IFRS and strong technical competency in preparing HKMA returns
• Proficiency in MS Office, in particular Excel; and VBA is preferred
• Good analytical, technical, written and communication skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
• Candidates with less experience can be considered as Manager
