Senior Technical Training Executive – IT (HK$45K - $60K) (Ref. No.: 27482)
Our client is a well-established Public Utility company; they are urgently looking for a Technical Training professional to take up the new role.
Job Duties
- Communicate with different IT teams to design and develop the training contents to ensure courses are responsive to the current and future needs of customers and ensure compliance with Corporation’s quality, safety and environmental requirements.
- Conduct classroom training and assessment as required to ensure that trainees are equipped with all necessary knowledge and skills and are competent to perform their job.
- Able to provide appropriate instructional techniques, skills, and knowledge are satisfactorily developed to meet the needs of the training programmes - delivered in an engaging manner without monotony.
- Ensure that the identified training needs are met through effective learning methods. Explore the possibility of using new / advanced training technologies to enhance training effectiveness from time to time.
- Able to interpret IT technical terminology and effectively translating it into layman’s terms to facilitate understanding among business users.
- Conducting both classroom and practical training quality assurances such as classroom checking and failure analysis, to ensure that any deviations from standards are monitored with reinforcement and improvement actions are taken as necessary.
- Take part in the new ITSD projects as appropriate.
- Implement the Safety Responsibility Statement in meeting the safety management requirement of the Department / BU.
- Make recommendations for and effect changes in curriculum design, control, and procedures of training programs to reflect current operational practices, including the exploration, acquisition, and adaptation of new systems, methodologies, and technologies to improve training effectiveness.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
- Preferable with certificate or diploma in training & development.
- Five years’ solid working experience in IT industry, and with at least three of which should be training related.
- Highly motivated team leader with the ability to work independently, mentor others, and drive projects to successful completion.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese.
