Our client, an Investment Bank, is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.

Job Duties

Create, maintain and update databases for market context, asset allocations, thematic analysis and event-driven analysis;
Conduct fundamental and financial analysis on markets, assets, sectors, industries and individual companies;
Create, maintain and update models of current and potential portfolio companies on a regular basis;
Assist in the evaluation of investment strategies, tactical opportunities, asset allocations, sector allocations and stock ideas;
Make contributions to research reports with guidance from senior team members;
Monitor and analyze flows of news, events and information;
Work on various client requests independently and in a timely and accurate manner;
Knowledge of macroeconomic is a plus.

Job Requirements

Strong academic pedigree, preferably with a Masters' degree in Economics or Finance or an equivalent field from a reputed university;
Candidates who are CFA Charter holders or pursuing CFA are preferred;
Minimum 1-2 years in a capital markets, investment banking, asset management, or research / strategy capacity;
Understanding of financial markets and various asset classes is a must;
Competitive proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese in a clear and concise manner;
Knowledge and understanding of various valuation methodologies and metrics for equity analysis of sectors as well as financial modelling skills would be expected;
Comfort with data mining, modelling and spreadsheets with quantitative analysis skills;
Proficient with financial databases and analytical platforms, such as Bloomberg, WIND, EPFR and FactSet.
