System Administrator / IT Officer (Financial firm, HK$30K-60K) (Ref. No.: 25580)
Our client, a multinational company is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.
Job Duties
- Perform day-to-day IT technical support on the infrastructure and application systems used
- Conduct supports on system administration, backup operation and batch processing
- Occasional needs to perform system support and fire-fighting in non-office hours and weekends
- Occasional needs to perform system maintenance and application system program migration during non-office hours and weekends
- Other ad-hoc tasks or projects
Job Requirements
- Higher Diploma or Bachelor Degree in any of the information technology related disciplines
- At least 3 years of system administration experience in supporting Linux, Solaris Unix and Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
- Basic understanding of database, backup and storage technologies is an advantage
- Interpersonal sensitivity and customer responsiveness with good spoken and written communication skills, team working skills
- Able to escalate problems in a timely manner as per the escalation matrix
- Good English and Chinese communication skills (both written and spoken)
- Immediate availability is highly preferred (but not a must)
