(Assistant) Project Managers x 2 – Cost Control (HK$40K - $80K) (Ref. No.: 26314)
Our client, a Semi-Government Body, is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.
Job Duties
- Responsible for Offshore Development Centre (ODC) Management Office function
- Set directions on governance processes, lead vendor and contract management
- Establish the ODC management framework, guidelines and tools for tracking
- Enhance the governance processes to match management's requirements
- Formulate management reports & ensure data accuracy
- Conduct the demand and resource planning which leads to identify ODC initiatives and prioritize workload
- Manage the regular ODC governance meeting with various teams
- Perform in-depth analysis of project performance for high risk or critical projects
- Provide regular training and knowledge sharing to project managers about ODC engagement processes
- Collaborate with ODC vendor on team building exercise
- Collaborate with different stakeholders and business users to facilitate the service delivery
- Supervise PMO Analyst on day-to-day ODC Management Office activities
- May be required to travel to China occasionally
Job Requirements
Preferred Qualifications and Abilities
- At least 8 years’ relevant experience in which 2 years in managerial / senior supervisory level
- At least 4 years’ experience in project management
- Experience in managing Offershore Development Centre is a plus
- Experience in IT Project Management Office, Project Portfolio Management, Project Costing and Budgeting Management is an advantage
- Certificates of PMP / Scrum Master / Certified Professional of IT is preferred
- Possess attention to detail
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical, problem-solving and report writing skills
- Possess organizational skills and financial management knowledge
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills with proven interpersonal skills
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; good command of Putonghua is an added advantage
*Less Experience is also considered as PMO Analyst*
- At least 4 years in project management
- Hands-on experience in project portfolio management, project costing & budget management
- Experience in SDLC, Agile, vendor management is an advantage
- Experience in planning, designing, enhancing, and implementing PMO governance processes is a big plus
- Collaborating with various teams to gather and analyse project data
