Assistant Manager, Brand and Product Marketing – Global Brand (Ref. No.: 27829)
Our client, a leading MNC, looking for a dynamic and insights-driven Assistant Product Manager to join our Brand & Product Marketing team. In this role, you will support the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that drive business growth, strengthen brand equity, and deliver meaningful consumer experiences
Job Duties
- Support the Line Manager in shaping and rolling out sales and marketing strategies that deliver on business goals
- Take ownership of brand development and portfolio management, covering both product innovation and lifecycle renovation
- Drive and coordinate diverse marketing activities—from advertising and branding to CRM, PR, Celebrities collaboration, and digital/social execution
- Work alongside the global and local teams to turn category visions into actionable, market-relevant plans
- Partner with cross-category task forces to build annual brand plans and 4–8 quarter activity roadmaps (including innovation drops and brand activations)
- Analyse business data to track brand health, uncover performance trends, and propose strategic adjustments
- Spot consumer and market shifts, transforming insights into tangible opportunities that meet customer needs
- Take full ownership of A&P planning, budget control, and performance monitoring
- Assist in managing P&L and contribute to business case development
Job Requirements
- University degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- At least 3 years of brand marketing experience within FMCG or a multinational environment
- Background in Personal Care or Beauty is a strong plus
- Adept at building local market intelligence and turning it into solid brand plans
- Demonstrated experience in driving product launches or relaunches with strong go-to-market execution
- A creative and forward-thinking approach, with a drive to challenge the status quo
- Comfortable navigating the digital landscape, with a good grasp of social and online marketing tools
- Numerically literate, with sharp analytical skills and a keen business sense
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities, capable of juggling multiple projects
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese
- A positive, can-do attitude with a proactive and self-starting work ethic
- Resilient under pressure, able to handle tight deadlines and navigate complexity with confidence
