Associate/VP, Product Management – Asset Management (HK$50K - $70K)
Our client, a Financial Institution, is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.
Job Duties
- Manage due diligence, onboarding, and shelf placement for third-party financial products, mainly alternative investments, with ongoing assessment of performance and risk.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with overseas asset management firms and other financial product providers.
- Oversee the design and launch of alternative investment products (such as hedge funds) and assist in managing the full product lifecycle.
- Participate in roadshows for key clients to present the company's financial product lineup; analyze client investment needs to formulate strategies for product expansion and development.
- Collaborate with internal legal, compliance, operations, and other product teams to facilitate product launches and ongoing operational maintenance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field
- At least 4-6 years of product management experience gained from asset managers.
- Familiar with Hong Kong and international financial markets; understanding of client investment needs as well as the investment characteristics and risk profiles of various financial products.
- Familiar with key strategies, managers and analytical methods in alternative investments; extensive experience in fund due diligence.
- Proficiency in using databases and analytical tools such as Bloomberg, Preqin and Morningstar.
- Proficiency in Mandarin, English and Cantonese.
