Branch Manager (HK$60K - $70K) (Ref. No.: 27648)
We are looking for a hands-on Retail Banking Branch Manager to lead a full service branch, drive business growth, and ensure exceptional customer service. The Branch Manager will be responsible for daily operations, team leadership, sales performance, and compliance with banking regulations.
Job Duties
- Oversee daily branch operations, including cash handling, teller supervision, and branch security.
- Lead, coach, and develop branch staff to meet or exceed sales and service targets.
- Drive new business by expanding personal and small business customer relationships.
- Manage branch profitability through effective cost control, staff scheduling, and performance monitoring.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, handle escalated complaints, and ensure high quality service standards.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, risk management requirements, and applicable banking regulations.
- Prepare and present regular reports on branch performance, sales pipeline, and customer feedback to senior management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in retail banking, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Qualification of HKSI, IIQE and MPF.
- Strong understanding of retail banking products, credit assessment basics, and AML/compliance requirements.
- Experience in people management, coaching, and performance evaluation.
- Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
