Cloud Engineer / Infrastructure Manager (HK$40K - $70K+) (Ref. No.: 27334)
Our client, a Public Listed Company, is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.
Job Duties
- Lead a small team in design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions to enhance our infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency. This role requires strong technical skills and a proactive approach to cloud architecture and infrastructure operations.
- Manage and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
- Ensure security best practices are followed in cloud environments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud services and applications, addressing issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to support application deployment and maintenance.
- Work closely with vendors on configuration management and architecture update.
- Document cloud architecture, processes, and procedures.
- Stay informed about emerging cloud technologies and trends.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in cloud engineering or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and services.
- Experience in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Bash).
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with networking concepts and security practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
