Our client, a Leading Bank, is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.
Job Duties
- Assist the Head of Legal & Compliance in managing all regulatory compliance matters.
- Conduct independent compliance reviews/ self-assessments to assess the effectiveness and robustness of policies and controls.
- Review internal policies, procedures and guidelines to ascertain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide recommendations on compliance issues and findings identified.
- Provide compliance advice on new product launches or revamps, related sales and marketing materials, training materials, compliance related and system enhancement projects.
- Maintain close liaison with and address issues with regulators, including regulatory inspections and audits.
- Provide appropriate training and promote a culture of compliance.
- Handle ad hoc requests and projects.
Job Requirements
- University graduate in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law or related disciplines.
- Minimum 6 years of banking experience, with relevant exposure to compliance / banking regulatory bodies / internal audit / risk and control management.
- Knowledge of investment and insurance products, Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (“FATCA”), Common Reporting Standard (“CRS”).
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge in banking laws, operations, products and services.
- Candidates with more experience can be considered as Senior Manager.
