Data Center (Senior Manager / Team Head) (Ref. No.: 27090)

Our client, a public listed company is looking for high-calibre person to fill the position.

Develop a long-term vision for data center aligned with company goals
Oversee, plan and manage all aspects of data center infrastructure and facility management including architecture design, planning & design management, resources allocation
Manage the data centers built-up related activities
Develop strategic plans to optimize data center resources and performance
Manage the operations and monitor the performance of data center facilities (e.g. structural cabling, computer rack, power distribution, cooling, fire suppression systems, security systems, sprinkler systems, UPS systems, etc)
Collaborate with vendors for construction activities to ensure projects meet schedule and budgets
Develop, implement and maintain data center policies, standards and procedures
Ensure the availability, reliability and security of mission-critical system, including monitoring and analyzing system performance metrics and implement improvement plans as need
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on data center facility operations to support regular maintenance and upgrade of equipment and its systems
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion
Liaise with local government authorities, consultants and internal parties
Allocate resources efficiently (e.g. power, space and cooling requirements)

10+ year proven experience with data center professional
Bachelor's degree or above in building service, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or relevant discipline
Good experience with cross-domain solutions, such as electrical, HV-ELV solutions
Experience with mission critical data center infrastructure and facility maintenance and incident response
Experience in managing and leading a team of data center facility engineers to maintain and support 7x24 high-availability, reliable and secure operations of data center
Good problem-solving abilities and the ability to analyze and address complex performance and scalability challenges
Preferable to have experience in manage and built-up new data centers in overseas
Holder certificates such CDCP, CDCE, CDFOM is highly preferable
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin)
