DevOps Engineer (HK$40K - $50K) (Ref. No.: 27019)
Our client, a Leading Consumer Bank, is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.
Job Duties
- Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing production systems.
- System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
- Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.
- Ensuring critical system security using best in class security solutions.
- Develop and maintain solutions for operational administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring.
- Assist to define IT policy and standards pertaining in field.
- Enforce and execute problem and change management procedures.
- Support and ensure deliverables follow IT standard and guideline, covering not only anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing controls in accordance with regulatory standards and group policies.
- Chance to work in Data Center to assist and support self-managed server.
- Responsible to support 7x24 business as usual operations.
Job Requirements
- Degree holder in Information Technology or related disciplines.
- Certification in OCP, CKA and/or RHCE preferred.
- ITIL/PMP certification is also an added advantage.
- At least 2 years’ experience with implementing high-scale cloud architectures using modern, cloud-based container and On-Premise Platforms (PaaS/SaaS).
- Excellent coding and scripting skills (Bash, Python, Terraform).
- Working knowledge in deployment automation solutions (i.e. Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
- In-deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, AliCloud or any Cloud platform in market).
- Practical experience with containers and container orchestration platform such as Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes etc.
- Practical experience with C/I & C/D and related DevSecOps tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Maven, NPM, Git/GitOps, Elastic etc.
- Related experience in supporting Unix/Linux OS, Middleware and Database.
- Familiar with Agile, DevOps, IaC and related technique in field.
- Familiar with Cloud and Virtualization technology.
- Related exposure to multiple computer platforms.
- Related experience and knowledge on various banking applications and architecture design.
- Related hands-on knowledge in system integration implementation.
- Good communication and inter-personal skills.
