Legal Counsel (Director / Associate Director) - Insurance (HK$90K - $120K)
Our client, a fast growing insurance company is now urgently looking for a high caliber candidate to join their team.
Job Duties
- Lead a small team to provide professional legal advisory and support on the operation and business
- Oversee and manage insurance licensing applications
- Draft and review various legal documents and agreements, such as vendor contract, marketing literature, product documents, policy terms and conditions, etc.
- Provide legal advise on matters relating to difference distribution channels, including the agency force, brokers, and bank channels, etc.
- Liaise with external lawyers and follow up on litigation case
- Responsible for legal issues covered general corporate and regulatory matters
- Review and draft guidelines, procedures and policies
- Perform ad hoc projects
Job Requirements
- Degree holder in Laws / LLB or related disciplines
- At least 8-12 years PQE, with a minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in Insurance sector, inhouse experience within the life insurance sector is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of the insurance regulatory requirements is a MUST
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Legal Manager
