Manager, Application Systems (HK$75K - 90K monthly) (Ref. No.: 27040)
Our client, regarded as one of the fastest growing organizations in her industry, is looking for IT professional to join them. You will play a leadership role in the off-the-shelf package and/or application development/support projects.
Job Duties
- Plan, monitor, and control the assigned projects/ tasks in the capacity of a project manager/ lead to meet the project timeline, quality and costs;
- Conduct the necessary user requirements analysis, business process re-engineering/ improvement, system design, and system configuration; manage the user expectations to ensure a well-designed system is in place;
- Supervise subordinates to ensure the quality and productivity of their output and to meet the prescribed timeline;
- Manage outside vendors and contractors, where applicable, as part of the system development life cycle to ensure value-for-money service delivery;
- Embrace new technology, practices, procedures, and a governance framework to enhance overall productivity, controls, and work satisfaction for a better workplace; and
- Manage enhancements or support requests to meet the required service level or user expectations.
Job Requirements
- A university degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline;
- A minimum of 8 years' post-qualification with substantial hands-on IT experience, including at least 6 years in large-scale off-the-shelf ERP packages such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, Workday with focus on Financial, HR systems or CRM;
- Experience in the design and implementation of large-scale application systems development projects with a focus on project governance and change management;
- Strong leadership, analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to drive changes in a complex environment;
- Excellent interpersonal skills to influence and communicate effectively with all levels;
- Substantial experience and skills in project, customer, and vendor management; and
- Experience in a consulting capacity in one of the leading consulting practices is desirable.
