Our client, a public sector is looking for high-calibre person to fill the position.
Job Duties
- Enhancing office network infrastructure to improve reliability, scalability, and security across departmental and mission critical sites.
- Technical advice to Senior Management on the use of the IT Infrastructure.
- Lead planning and development of network and infrastructure architecture.
- Provide advice for existing systems and define improvement roadmaps.
- Review and endorse infrastructure designs and standards.
- Analyze technology trends and evaluate their impact on infrastructure strategy.
- Provide technical advice to senior management on IT infrastructure and investment decisions.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- A least 8 years of post-qualification experience, including a minimum of 5 years with team leading role.
- Experience in data center operations and management.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including Routing, Switching, LAN/WAN, STP, HSRP, ARP, VLAN, Inter-VLAN Routing, OSPF, and BGP.
- Experience in supporting or implementing DevSecOps practices is desirable.
- Familiarity with network management tools and industry-standard operational best practices.
- With knowledge in government procurement and tendering processes is advantage.
