Public Fund Operations Manager (Asset Management) (HK$50K - $65K) (Ref. No.: 26982)
Our client, an Investment Bank, is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.
Job Duties
- Handle Public Bond and Equity Fund Full Lifecycle Operations
- Prepare and validate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements, as well as Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations
- Perform duties of fund accounting fund administration, and to conduct reconciliations for all fund transactions, including trade matching, payment instructions, relevant reporting, and to ensure accuracy, to identify reason / root cause of discrepancies
- Support ad hoc projects assigned by team head / section head. Liaise with business partners on user requirements, participating and monitoring pre- and post-system enhancement / deployment till project timeline
- Maintain effective communication with clients, internal and external stakeholders
Job Requirements
- University graduated with 6 -8 years’ relevant operation experience, preference with whom having public fund operation and accounting experience
- Financial qualification holders such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, FRM are preferred
- More than two years of experience in the operation of public funds (at least one phase of audit and full cycle operation work, understand the implementation of various aspects)
- Familiar with common operating systems, such as Linedata, MiddleX, Geneva, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office applications such as Excel (VBA), Python, Access, etc.
- A team player with excellent attitude; willing to take on multiple functions
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin
