Responsible Officer, Corporate Finance (Type 1, 4 and 6) (HK$70K - $80K) (Ref. No.: 27749)
Our client is a leading Chinese FI looking for an experienced and hands-on RO to oversee Type 1, 4 and 6 regulated activities.
Job Duties
- Drive IPOs, financial advisory, M&A, and capital raising mandates
- Lead end-to-end deal execution, including due diligence, market research, financial modelling, and investment analysis
- Play an active role in business development and client engagement
- Participate in marketing activities, client presentations, and transaction structuring
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute practical ideas to support company growth
- Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with SFC requirements, the takeovers code, and all applicable legal and regulatory frameworks
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above, current holder of SFC Type 1, 4 and 6 Responsible Officer licenses and meet the criteria to act as a Sponsor Principal
- Bring 6-8 years of hands-on corporate finance experience, with a strong track record of completed IPO and M&A transactions in Hong Kong
- Strong analytical ability, confidence in dealing with SFC and HKEX, excellent financial modelling and presentation skills, and the ability to perform well in a face-paced environment
- Full professional fluency in English and Chinese, including Mandarin, is essential
