Responsible Officer – Insurance Brokers (HK$90K - $100K) (Ref. No.: 27761)
Our client, a Financial Institution, is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.
Job Duties
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the insurance brokerage firm
- Ensure compliance with the regulatory requirement set by the Insurance Authority (IA)
- Assist in the preparation and submission of license applications to the Insurance Authority (IA)
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders
- Provide professional advice and recommendations on insurance products and services
- Train and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development
- Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to maintain competitive advantage
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in insurance industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Current holder of RO license of an insurance broker company
- Strong relationship with leading insurers in Hong Kong, able to obtain reference letters from insurers
- Thorough understanding of the regulatory framework and requirements of the Insurance Authority (IA)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity, professionalism and ethical conduct
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English
