Senior Database Administrator (Investment Bank)
Our client, a leading Investment Bank is looking for high-caliber person for the following position.
Job Duties
- Lead database performance tuning activities and maintain performance metrics
- Create and document physical data models
- Customize database configuration parameters for specific applications
- Design backup and recovery, scalability and high availability database strategies
- Review SQL, stored procedures and application interfaces with databases
- Define and implement database access standards
- Recommend database management software and lead the development of concept activities
Job Requirements
- Degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines
- At least 8 years working experience
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle database including RAC, ASM, DataGuard, data partitioning, load balancing, JDBC, ODBC and integration with J2EE applications
- Well versed in design of both online transaction processing and business intelligence applications
- Those with less experience will consider as Database Administrator
