Travel Retail Manager (Regional) – Luxury Brand (Ref. No.: 27211)
Our client, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Travel Retail Manager (Regional) to oversee and drive the growth of our luxury goods business within the travel retail channel across the region.
This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to maximize brand visibility, sales performance, and customer engagement in airports, duty-free shops, and other travel retail locations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury goods, a deep understanding of the travel retail market, and exceptional leadership and relationship-building skills.
Job Duties
- Develop and implement regional travel retail strategies to achieve sales targets and brand objectives.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the travel retail channel.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key travel retail partners, including airport operators, duty-free retailers, and distributors.
- Monitor and manage the performance of travel retail accounts, providing regular reports and actionable insights.
- Ensure consistent brand representation and visual merchandising standards across all travel retail locations.
- Set and monitor sales targets for the travel retail channel, ensuring alignment with regional and global goals.
- Analyze sales data and market insights to identify growth opportunities and address challenges.
- Provide training and support to travel retail staff to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Oversee the execution of logistics and supply chain processes to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Lead and mentor a regional travel retail team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years experience in travel retail, preferably within the luxury retail sector
- Deep understanding of the travel retail market, including key players, trends, and customer dynamics.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in negotiating and managing high-value accounts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
