Our client, a well-known financial related statutory body is looking for high-calibre person to fill the position.

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

Engage business users and IT stakeholders to capture surveillance logic, alerting, case management, and reporting requirements.
Document functional and non-functional requirements, including data onboarding specifications and integration protocols with VATPs.

Solution & Change Support

Facilitate vendor workshops and architecture/security reviews with internal IT (BA, Security, Architecture) and external parties (vendor, cloud solution provider).
Support the development of testing strategy, UAT scenarios, and acceptance criteria.

Project Coordination

Assist IT Project Manager in tracking milestones, managing dependencies, and preparing progress reports for steering committee governance.

Quality Assurance

Assist in QA and testing activities, including test scenario preparation, test case review, defect management, UAT coordination, and validation of business requirements and acceptance criteria.
Oversee data mapping quality, sample validation, and support system testing including integration, performance and security testing.
Assist in preparing training materials, user manuals, and conducting briefing sessions for business users.

Operational Readiness

Contribute to cutover planning, production onboarding, and transition-to support documentation.
Perform procurement and vendor management support as necessary, ensuring compliance.

Production Support

Provide production support following system go-live, including incident handling, user support, issue resolution coordination and enhancement request management.

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance/Technology, or related field. Experience in the virtual asset (VA) industry is an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of experience in business/system analysis and IT project delivery, including large-scale regulatory or financial compliance systems.
Strong understanding of:
- Trading and surveillance concepts (market abuse scenarios, alert workflows, reporting obligations).
- Cloud-based architectures, data integration (API, SFTP, message queues), and analytics platforms.
Knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy frameworks relevant to cloud deployments is an advantage.
Strong facilitation, communication, and documentation skills; fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, PMP), and experience in vendor management, quality assurance, and governance controls.
Proficient in preparing BRD / FRD / data mapping specifications; experience in workflow design and surveillance system configurations is preferred.
Ability to work independently across multiple workstreams (integration, data validation, UAT).
Regulatory/financial industry experience and knowledge of risk/control practices will be a plus.
